Fair and transparent fees
We charge a fee for our services.
That’s not unusual; all financial planners charge for their services. Our difference is we keep our initial fees and charges low in order to demonstrate our desire to invest in a long-term relationship.
We aim to provide you with a first-class service and deliver value for money by building up a long-term solid relationship with you and your family. That is why we invest a lot of time at the outset of the relationship, making sure we get to know you, and the life you want to live.
So we provide an initial consultation at our expense. That’s right: we don’t charge you a thing. This meeting helps us understand your financial objectives and confirms how we will help you achieve them. We will discuss our services and costs, both initially and throughout our relationship with you.
It may be that we’re not the right planner for you; in which case we’ll point you in the right direction.
We then move forward to do a financial review and recommendation. This will include an initial fee but we aim to keep these far lower than the industry standard, to demonstrate our desire to invest in a long-term relationship.
On accepting our recommendations, we can then implement them – subject to a fee – and start to work together, on a long-term basis. The ongoing service is vital and the fee is based on the amount of investments we are looking after for you.
We don’t charge fees for our protection (insurance) services as we will normally receive commission from the policy provider. You will not be subject to VAT for this service.
Where’s the value?
The value of our advice comes from seeing how your wealth can work for you. It comes from the peace of mind of working with a true financial planner, utilising cash flow modelling tools to show how your financial well being will hold up in certain ‘what if’ scenarios.
It comes with the reassurance that all our fees will be explained, discussed and agreed before we undertake any chargeable work for you.
