Advice Matters was established by Chris Wheatman in 2004
But we’ve been providing independent financial planning advice to clients in the South Lake District for nearly 30 years.
In that time, we’ve grown and we now have a team of experts providing back-office support to Chris. This means that he can focus all of his time and energy on you.
It’s this focus which makes Chris a financial planner, rather than an adviser. He takes time to get to know his clients and really understand their hopes, plans and concerns. This way, the team can develop a tailored financial plan to help you to live the life you want.

Our aim is to continue to deliver 100% satisfaction for our clients. We hope that there will never be cause for complaint. However, in the unlikely event that we are not delivering the level of service you expect, you have the right to make a complaint.
